genetics really matters for bodybuilding?
Today I want to say something about genetics.
I often hear people say, "It's easy for you because you have good genetics .. or "I would like to build muscle, but I don't have the right genetics."
I dedicate my whole life to this sport and I can clearly say that genetics have a certain influence. There are people who can train for 5 years and some who only train for 2 years and look alike. Someone gains muscle easily, it is more difficult for someone, someone gains strength and another takes much longer. It is true.
However, these differences are important, especially when preparing for a competition, be it bodybuilding, bikini fitness, or weightlifting. In this case, the above applies. If we talk about people who exercise and do the same workouts for the same amount of time, chances are that those with the best genetics will win. However, as a general rule, people with poorer genetics tend to be more motivated, so these less talented people often outnumber those with better genetics.
How does it work for normal people?
We have talked about how it works in terms of genetics for elite athletes, but ordinary people don't have to deal with genetics at all because it is not essential. I think someone who has it as a hobby and does it for fun regardless of their genetics can develop a great physique. It is enough for you to concentrate on that, it is to configure the training well and of course the diet, which will not be especially restrictive.
It might not be in a month or a year, but if you like it, the results will come sooner or later, trust me. It is important that you like it and of course after ten years if your figure is really different from the beginning, people will tell you that they would also do sports, but it is not worth it because they do not know genetics and functionality.
What can i recommend
Wait a minute and don't let anyone put you off. Don't expect results overnight, because anything of value takes time. And when you see all the great bodybuilders in different magazines, you have to notice the difference between bodybuilding and natural bodybuilding, because no top bodybuilder goes natural and that is very important. These people also have completely different workouts and I'm not even talking about diet .
So work on yourself, don't give up and you'll see how it goes. If you have any questions, write me in the comments, I will be happy to answer you
